General overview of a standard printing process:

PRINTING Requirements
For best results and efficiency in printing production, please follow the guidelines below.

What type of file format do we accept for printing instruction?
We accept format TIF, TIFF, JPG, EPS, PNG, and PDF. Or working file in AI, INDD and PSD.

What is considered as best resolution for printing?
A minimum of 300 dpi (dot per inch) is required for good printing results.

What color mode is used for printing?
All color artworks and/or images must be provided in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow Black) color mode.
And all black and white artworks and/or images must be provided in greyscale color mode. Heavy inking may cause smearing. -
What fonts do we use for printing?
Any fonts can be used but must be either embedded in PDF files, converted to paths or outlined.

How much bleed is require?
We require ALL files to have a minimum of 3mm bleed dimension of all sides of the artwork.

Is crop marks required?
We require ALL files to have crop marks as a guideline for the artwork to be trimmed to size.

What is a safe zone?
All critical elements (text, images, logos, etc) must be kept at least 5mm inside the edge. Anything left close to the edge may be cut-off during trimming.

How do I upload my files to Keypoint Print Media?
You may upload your files via “WeTransfer”, “Dropbox” or similar media. Alternatively, you may send us a CD or thumbdrive.
